Netpak Inc., the leading innovator in food, pharma and beauty packaging, is proud to be among the first Canadian printing and packaging manufacturer to earn full certification as a Walgreens Certified Print Packaging Supplier. The Graphic Measures International Full Certification (GMI) guarantees that the final packaging will meet the highest standards of quality, thereby safeguarding the brand integrity.
The manufacturer of folding cartons, blister packaging, labels, inserts/outserts, and medication guides completed a program administered by Graphic Measures International (GMI), an organization that monitors and validates suppliers’ required process controls and ability to deliver consistent results for its vendors.
The process to earn this achievement involved on-site evaluations by a GMI auditor of Netpak’s entire printing operation for lithography. The audit assesses four key areas of manufacturing: prepress, plate making, printing press, and post press.
This designation enables Walgreens private label suppliers to use Netpak for printed packaging for Walgreens branded products. Only private brand products with retail packaging will require the certification.
